Hey guys, I’m Cody. Welcome to my site!

Turns out trying to do “About Me”s without sounding super stuffy and canned is hard! But I’m gonna do my best here. First, the basics: I’m a nonbinary butch lesbian, and I use the pronouns he/they. I’ve been doing VA work since early 2024, got my start over on Reddit, then expanded to YouTube, and now here we are with a site of my very own!

My work is all about exploring story and self through the lens of sapphism. I’m a lesbian, but discovered in recent years that I’m not a woman, and along with that discovery, I also discovered that a lot of the sapphic work out there is for women loving women. I obviously don’t fit into that demographic, so I decided to be the change or whatever that quote is and make my own sapphic material, stuff that would appeal to me and to people like me. Incidentally, it also happens to appeal quite a bit to queer and sapphic women too, so everybody wins!

I love this work. Voice acting has been a quiet dream of mine for a really long time, honestly a lot longer than I actually realized for a while. The more I’ve gotten into it, the more I’ve been amazed at the depth of joy and fulfillment I’ve found here - and not just from the voice acting itself. The community that’s come beautifully and organically into existence around ButchCody has been nothing short of awe-inspiring. I never could’ve expected this level of love and connection, all because I decided to be horny into a mic one day in March of 2024. Peace and love on planet earth.
